If you’ve ever longed to know more about South Carolina’s world famous, Mexican themed roadside attraction known as South of the Border, make plans to catch the world premier of “S.O.B. and the Legend of Alan Schafer.” Produced and directed by Jesse Berger and Nate Mallard, two College of Charleston students, the film examines the life and stories behind Alan Schafer, the controversial figure behind this strange, sombrero wearing attraction along I-95.

The film premiers this Saturday, April 25 at the Terrace Theater as part of the Charleston International Film Festival.
